Three Good Things
The day, remembered properly
Positive psychology's most replicated exercise
At the end of the day, write three things that were good, and your part in them. The mind keeps a biased ledger and this corrects it. Small practice, done nightly, with an effect on how whole weeks feel.
How to do it
- 1At day's end, take two quiet minutes
- 2Write three things that went well today
- 3For each, note what you did to make it happen
- 4Read them back once
