Two breaths in, one long breath out

Stanford neuroscience, and every sleeping mammal
The fastest way the body knows to settle itself. Two inhales through the nose, the second one small and sharp on top of the first, then one long slow exhale through the mouth. Your body already does this in sleep and after crying. Done deliberately, a few rounds is often enough to feel the shift.
How to do it
- 1Inhale through the nose until comfortably full
- 2Take one more short sip of air on top
- 3Exhale long and slow through the mouth
- 4Repeat for five rounds
