A screen sits about sixty centimetres from your face for most of the day. This is the opposite. Find the longest view available, a roofline, a tree across the street, the horizon if you are lucky, and let your eyes rest on it.
How to do it
- 1Find a window or a doorway with some distance in it.
- 2Pick the furthest point: a roofline, a tree, the horizon.
- 3Let your eyes rest there. Read nothing.
- 4When your eyes drift back to near things, send them out again.
