The Twenty Minute Walk
Out the door, no destination, no phone
Every thinker who ever solved anything
Twenty minutes of ordinary walking, outside, phone in pocket. The pace is conversational, the route doesn't matter. Almost everyone who ever produced anything worth keeping had a version of this. The walk is where the day untangles.
How to do it
- 1Leave the building, phone silenced and pocketed
- 2Walk at an easy pace with no destination
- 3Let the eyes travel far, not down
- 4Return when twenty minutes says so
