Hilltop Country House

The house sits on a hill outside Fernmount, less than ten minutes' drive from Bellingen. Country home, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The views run out across mountains, the river and native bush, and they do not stop at the fence line.

Adults only. Four people at most, and often fewer.

There is a pool up here, long enough to swim in properly, with the same open view as the house. Sun loungers beside it. Outdoor furniture and a table under the patio for eating outside when the weather allows. Indoors there is a fireplace for the cold nights, a ceiling fan and air conditioning for the other kind, and a bathtub if that is what the day calls for.

The kitchen is a full one - stove, oven, dishwasher, kettle, coffee, wine glasses, a dining table with room around it. Books on the shelf and board games in the cupboard. Wifi if you want it. Room-darkening shades in the bedrooms. Self check-in on a smart lock, so nobody has to meet you at the door. Pets are welcome. Long stays are allowed.
